About Akkaya Window Cleaning

Akkaya Window Cleaning Ltd was set up in 2020 with a simple aim: to give people on the Fylde Coast a window cleaner who turns up, does a proper job and charges a fair, agreed price.

We are a small, owner-run business rather than a franchise. That means the person who prices your job is the person who cleans your windows, and you get the same familiar face on every visit. Most of our work comes from neighbours recommending us down the street, which is exactly how we like it.

How we clean

Most of our domestic and commercial work is carried out with a pure water pole system. Ordinary tap water carries dissolved minerals that dry into spots on the glass; our water is filtered and deionised, so the windows dry naturally with nothing left behind. It also means we can reach upstairs windows, conservatory roofs and shop frontages safely from the ground, without leaning ladders against your property.

Where a traditional approach suits the job better, for example on internal glass or on intricate leaded windows, we use a mop, squeegee and scrim in the old-fashioned way. Frames, sills and door glass are cleaned as standard on every visit, not charged as an extra.

Working with us

There is no contract to sign and no minimum term. We work on a rolling round, normally every four, eight or twelve weeks, and we text you the evening before we are due so you can leave gates unlocked or move the car. If the weather turns or something crops up, we will let you know rather than leaving you wondering.

Payment is due after the clean, by bank transfer, card or standing order, and we send a receipt for every payment. For commercial customers we can invoice monthly on agreed terms.

Registered and insured

Akkaya Window Cleaning Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 12580185, with a registered office at 56 Lord Street, Fleetwood FY7 6DT. Public liability insurance is in place and a copy of the certificate is available on request, along with a written risk assessment and method statement for commercial sites.
